Navigating the Digital Divide

Tbh all the servers on discord I've ever been to have not nearly been as welcoming as metahug. Heck lian offered me a top of the line processor that she didn't know if she was gonna get back. Metahug is the most welcoming and nonhostile environment I've ever been in online. The members and mods are so much fun to talk to and play with. Our reviews and random gaming sessions are SO fun. What a great place you've made lian. Shoutouts to all the friends I've made, and all that have made me feel welcome.  Also the whole GameReviewer team

For me personally, I joined looking for ugc and stayed for the community. At first I rarely talked like I do in 99% of discord servers and when I finally did start talking, I couldnt stop.  The staff and fellow team members really helped open me up and be as active as I am now, Even Lian offered and helped me with a few things regarding game reviewing and stuff like that.  MetaHug is THE NICEST server I have ever been in with a loving community and I have made so many amazing friends/ team here. Thank you metahug for all that you do for the community and for us <3

MetaHug is awesome. I've made great friends and get to share what I learn in my therapist internship with everyone. It's really supportive!
We all help each other out and have important chats. It feels good to make a difference in someone's day. This helps me stay focused and work hard in school because I want to help people in the future too.

This is my story of Metahug. I remember trying to find a UGC Uploader which uploaders shoulder pals. I use to search for the all the time but they were just too expensive. One day I saw the MetaHug group (I don’t really remember where because it was like 1 year ago). I joined their group and discord server and was welcomed by Lian. I dm’ed Lian about the pal and she gave me a form. I filled it and within some weeks I was giving my first shoulder pal!! It was one of the happiest moments in my roblox life. Soon after I was involved in the community a lot and I was honoured the Mod rank in MetaHug by Lian. It has nearly been 1 year since I started working as a Mod in this server. I have seen this server grow soo much since it was created and the community has increased by a lot!! I am proud of myself for being a mod in this server and I will continue to help the community as much as possible.

I found out about MetaHug in July  2023, when syns posted on his telegram channel, his shoulder pal. When I clicked on the creator of this UGC, I saw MetaHug. I wanted to join discord and apply for shoulder pal, but I forgot. I remembered MetaHug when I was watching a YouTube video about roblox. I accidentally went into the description and saw a link to shoulder pal. When I clicked on the link, I saw MetaHug. Then I joined Discord and applied. When I looked at the waitlist, I saw myself in 2025. I'm not in MetaHug right now because of shoulder pal. When I was waiting for shoulder pal, I started chatting with members, was accepted to ugc advisor, and I want to say thank you to all of you.

How I found MetaHug: It was  May of 2023. I was watching Tiktok and found video about MetaHug makes free pals, and I wanted join and get pal. I got my pal in July and I was so happy about it.But I wanted to stay in MetaHug for something new, and this become true! I started become contest winner, game reviewer and now UGC Advisor. Thanks Lian for everything.Without her I maybe never founded this server.

when I first came across this server I thought it was just going to be a normal UGC server with normal people and moderators but I was wrong, this community is really positive and kind which I am sure has made a wonderful impact on these people and I just want to express my gratitude by thanking you guys for everything that you guys do for example dropping free limited ugc for people who don't have robux to purchase items, making free shoulder pals and accessories for users, my time in this server has been fantastic talking to all the people and the moderators that are active talking and building a positive impact on people. I can tell that many positive friendhsips have been possibly built throughout their journey in MetaHug.

This is my 2 month being here and about 4 months in your group on Roblox. Even though my introduction with MetaHug was short, I still liked being here. It just caught on that like home-feeling and it’s been a great year as well! I also even thought of MetaHug as a family to me with every new member being welcomed in a nice and comfortable way. Thanks to all the MetaHug staff and members that made my life better. Thank you all for making this possible to happen and I hope many is to come.

MetaHug is not just any place, it is a special place on Roblox. Where people discover here that they are able to be who they want to be without Judgement. As well as being creative, with no limitations and expressing themselves with hand crafted and digitally made creations. While having fun by interacting with the community and most importantly, making those special connections with the members they meet. Ultimately in the end, learning the spirit of giving and caring for each other.

I first joined metahug because some of my friends and family members recommend the server metahug, just like everybody else I found that metahug was more than a gaming community when i was asked to be a mod I was definitely nervous at first but at the time moon, cai, tailbug, bestr we're very welcoming and taught me everything I know today it's been incredible to watch the server grow with the time I've been here I feel grateful to be a small part of our community and along the ways made friends and hope I can be part of it forever, thank you to all the staff and members and lastly thank you lian.

MetaHug is a place where I was able to find more friends and learn a little English. The story of how I found MetaHug. It all happened in the evening. I came across a video talking about MetaHug, and without hesitation decided to join this wonderful community. At first, of course, I did not understand what and how, but over time I began to understand what and where it was. I tried to talk to everyone, but sometimes it didn't work out. Later, the Creator application appeared, for which I confidently applied. And I became one of them. I helped, I did, I trained. I was always ready to help in some way. There are many good memories associated with the MetaHug community. Then an application for MetaHug Mods appeared, and I confidently applied. After 2-3 weeks, I receive a message that I have been accepted into Mods. I was so glad that there was no limit to it. Even at the moment, I love the entire MetaHug community and hope that we will be together for the rest of our lives.

Now, as for this group/community, I’m so happy that I get to be a part of this, like many others I joined this group for the pal and back then I would’ve never thought I would have some sort of important role in this community. Like Draco already said, I stayed for the community because never in my time being on discord have I seen such a caring, non-toxic, playful but yet so mature group, I want to thank all of you for being there for me and saying kind words when I was going through tough times. Mods and devs, you are doing a great job at maintaining this group and I respect you so much (especially with how crazy the main chat was with the whole december ugc drop thing going on…).Lian, thank you for creating such a safe space and loving community.

(story ark) I actually came here because there was a contest a good while back that involved invites, so the top people with the most invites won something idr what it was, so my friend was trying to win and ended up inviting me, and usually i don't join servers people send to me because im reclusive by nature but he kinda explained everything and i was like "ok cool" and originally i was just gonna stay for the 2 weeks to help him out and then dip. But since then..... I can't really describe the experience its been like seeing not only myself personally but the brand as a whole transform into what it has and the exponential growth of it all. Its just very humbling to see and be a part of. So thank you admins and fellow mods for continuing to be fantastic at what y'all do and put up with my crap on a daily basis, thank you to all the reviewers, creators, UGC advisors etc for continuing to reinvent what we do here at MetaHug (and for bringing Cat Darkfall to life) Thank you members for being awesome and welcoming to everyone, and most importantly thank you Lian for somehow believing in me enough to allow me to be where Im at. I can only hope things get even better as we go along, and Im stoked to see what the future brings
